20 Series I Have Yet To Read

Helloo!

Now that I’m looking back on February, it’s not really the best month when we get to see numbers of books read but, you know what? It doesn’t matter! I’ve finally had the courage to pick up a chunky book and I’m enjoying it a lot! I’m talking about David Copperfield of course. An absolute favorite even though it’s taking me some time to read it because there are moments where it’s just too much. I’m so engulfed in the story that I’ve taken David Copperfield as my child and… too much feelings! I have a feeling I’ll maybe do a discussion instead of a review because I don’t think I can shut up about the spoilers. 😥  Anyways, this stands as an update but is not today’s topic of discussion.

I don’t know if you have noticed but I don’t really talk much about series. The only one I would’ve probably mentionned was Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo but I haven’t even finished the duology and I think I should probably reread Six of Crows because I picked it up in the wrong time and was not focused at all. There’s also another duology ( I think there are only two books :p ) called Wolf by Wolf that I’ve started after seeing Fadwa @wordwoonders rave about Blood for Blood which is the second book by Ryan Graudin. I have only read the first one but I adored it so much that I thought that, yeah, maybe I AM missing out on so much by not reading series! I don’t know but after Harry Potter, I didn’t feel like getting invested in an other series. I have commitment issues and I get very paranoid about starting a series that gets worse and worse, and that could be anyone of them. There are authors that I’ve known from their standalones and I know I would love their series but I’m always like “Well, later, maybe… Now let’s see this other cool standalone!”.

I have decided though that this year I will try to complete at least two series, and not from those I’ve mentionned before or the ones I’ve already started. There are so many though and I don’t really know where to start. I have my eye on Finnikin of The Rock, Mistborn and Passenger since they are the ones I actually own but I’m not suuure. Here comes the list of series I have not read yet and that I’m looking forward to. (I went a bit too strong with the graphics)

    1. I’ve heard so much about them and I can’t wait to finally get all (or most) of the references! I still don’t really know what they’re about as I prefer to go in blind in books but I’m really excited about those – especially Shades of Magic and Mistborn!
Thank youu, I hope you will enjoy Robin Hobb’s books and Finnikin of The Rock as well! 😀 If you get to them, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

  2. You have some really great series on this list. I highly recommend the Red Rising trilogy. I’m at the end of book 3 now, and it is really intense and I don’t want it to end. I’m dragging it out, because I don’t want to say goodbye to the world and the characters, haha.

I have to read all of these series too. The only one I have finished is Red Rising as I mentioned, and the Cassandra Clare books.

    1. So it’s that good, hun? That sounds exciting! 😀 I haven’t been hearing much about it somehow. I only spotted it in some videos and it seemed really interesting! I don’t know if they’re not that popular or if I just didn’t look in all the right places, haha! Either way, I’m so looking forward to reading that series.
It’s sooo hard to keep up with all of them! 😂 I hope you’ll like the rest of the series if you ever decide to pick them up!
Have you enjoyed Cassandra Clare’s books?

      1. Yes it is ^_^ I think I heard about it from Tasha from Tashapolis on Youtube, a long time ago.
I like the Cassandra Clare books. They are not the best written books, but I love the Shadowhunter world, and I have fun reading them 🙂

  3. Some seriously excellent books here! I have to ‘vote’ for the Farseer trilogy – my favourite fantasy series of all time! I have a later Hobb series to move up my TBR pile! I’m very much looking forward to finishing the wonderful Shades of Magic series, too, and I *adored* book 1 of Red Rising last year – much finish that series myself!

    1. It gets harder and harder to pick one to read first haha
I’ve only heard great reviews about Robin Hobb so I can only assume she really knows how to build a fantasy world!
Hopefully I’ll get to start one of these sometime soon 😀 I’m waiting to get my hands on the hardcovers of the Shades of Magic series to finally start it because I love them covers ❤
